We recently travelled to Hamilton Island in the Whitsunday’s for Josh & Jenna’s destination wedding. We posted this sneak peek as a bit of a teaser!
The weather was stunning for our entire time there with the cockatoos greeting us each morning – truly something I could get used to.
Josh & Jenna married in the Chapel on the Island in front of friends and family overlooking the Island and Ocean beyond, a stunning back drop to a sincere and personal ceremony. (*side note that James Johnson from Australian Idol (he came 3rd to Stan Walker) was the musician for the ceremony & reception and he is a very talented guy based in Brisbane – look him up and book him as we loved his music!)
After a lot of celebratory congratulations we jumped in our buggy’s and went around the Island for our photos, starting at the new Yacht Club where the reception was held before heading perhaps off the beaten track to a stunning plot of land we found with a majestic view overlooking the passage into Hamilton Island. We then went up to One Tree Hill and ended at Catseye Beach for some bridal party fun.
We hope you enjoy the images as much as we enjoyed taking them!

How is this for a pair of wedding shoes!;
