Leisa & Robert got married, but more than that there families got married too. Safe to say that Leisa’s parents & Robert’s parents are now close friends who probably go out to dinner without Leisa & Robert!
Leisa got ready in a funky cottage on the hills of Mt Tamborine, I fell in love with the kooky decor of the cottage (I really wanted to put the wooden moose in my camera bag but everybody was watching…) She got ready with her beautiful sister, Robert’s best friend (who was a bridesmaid), her mum, Robert’s mum and her nan. Nan is a cracker, she believes in family and laughter in that order. It was also Nan’s 50th wedding anniversary on Leisa and Robert’s wedding day so that can only mean longevity and laughter for them as well, can’t it?
Robert is a spunky groom who was more concerned with everybody being looked after and having fun then being nervous. He laughs with his heart that one but he smiles with his soul when Leisa is around him, those two just don’t stop smiling!!!
Leisa & Robert (and their families :D) got married at Mt Tamborine Heritage Winery in the outside chapel, we then mingled and did family photos before hopping in the beautiful car to our location shoot locations with our yummy snacks prepared by Pat (the best man) before heading back to the Winery for a night of tear jerking speeches followed by the most raucous, energetic dancing I have ever witnessed (and most of that was Nan!!!) these families know how to party!!! I would also strongly suggest everybody hire Chris Palmer the muscian he rocked the place!!
Leisa, Robert & family thank you for inviting Chris and I into your family if only for a day. I wish you all much love, happiness and most of all laughter.
Honestly anybody want to steal it for me?? It would look awesome in my house!
A sneaky touch of color
a friend’s car who played driver magnificently!
