I love when I get the opportunity to partake in one of my other favourite pastimes… that is travel. And its even better when I get to incorporate wedding photography and traveling.
And that is exactly the opportunity I had when I recently photographed the wedding of Alicia and Ryan in New Zealand.
Both had recently returned to their homeland after a stint of working in Brisbane. And I could tell that they were loving being back home amongst friends and especially family. Their day was all about having fun and celebrating with family and friends. There were so many great details that both Alicia and Ryan had incorporated into their day and I enjoyed capturing it all for them.
The day started with the boys getting ready on the East Coast at Browns Bay. Then it was off to the West coast to photograph the girls at Muriwai. It’s pretty amazing that you can travel to two sides of a country and see two different seas in the space of 30 minutes!
The ceremony took place at in the country setting of Gracehill vineyard estate. Which was an ideal location made even better with the unique touches that Alicia and Ryan had made.

Three of the cutest flowergirls ever!;

I love this little moment between family photos;
Alicia spent much of the afternoon without shoes… looks so comfy!

Are these two going to have gorgeous kids someday or what!?;

The party really kicked off once the band started up! Ryan even sang a song just for Alicia;
