Byron Bay Wedding Photographer - Amy & Tom
Byron Bay wedding photographer
Amy & Tom had their wedding ceremony in the picturesque hinterland of Byron Bay in northern NSW. They chose Byron Bay for their wedding because it held a special place in their heart. They had spent many weekends and holidays down there with their close bunch of friends and family, so was the ideal choice.
Their wedding ceremony took place on the grounds of the ewingsdale hall, a cute old style community hall that later became their dancefloor!
The ceremony was full of fun and touching moments. I just love capturing all this fun and emotion on a wedding day! It's once of the many reasons that I think I have one of the best jobs in the world.
Following the ceremony everyone had a relaxing afternoon tea (/beer) ;) and I took the bride and groom to a few of my fabvourite spots in the Byron Bay hinterland. I grew up around byron bay so have an affinity with the beautiful landscapes that it provides. We explored farms, fields and macadamia plantations that afternoon before making our way back to Ewingsdale hall for the reception. The reception was held in a Marquee out the back which was gorgeously decorated with a hundred plus jars filled with tealight candles. The reception was a blast with some great speeches and Tom even sang a song for his bride! Everyone then adjourned to the hall where the party really kicked off with some epic dance floor action!
