After meeting Emily’s family at her brother Paul’s wedding a few months earlier, I knew that Emily & Derick’s wedding was going to be a lot of fun as well.

They chose a lovely small Catholic church in Graceville for their ceremony. It was then off to Tennyson’s Garden at The Brisbane Golf Club for the location photos and reception.

At this time of year the quality of the afternoon light is magical and we took it all in as we wandered around the course exploring all the little pockets of trees with sunshine bursting through their leaves.

The reception was a lot of fun as well with lots of great food and warm hearted speeches.
