Spicers Clovelly Estate Montville Wedding Photographer
They say it is good luck if it rains on your wedding day. Well Teagan and Ash are sure in for some luck in their lives. A thick blanket of fog and misty rain greeted me as I made my way to one of my favourite Montville wedding venues – Spicers Clovelly Estate. But instead of detracting from things, I think the mist and fog really added a great atmosphere to the lush manicured grounds and the grand french inspired house.
Both Teagan and Ash certainly didn’t let the weather affect their enjoyment of their big day. You could really tell they had been looking forward to this moment for a long time and only really had eyes for each other.
The ceremony was moved inside as the threat of heavy rain was just a little too much to allow for their original choice of getting married under the big jacaranda tree. But that only added to the intimate feel of their ceremony, having their family and friends nice and close to share in their love.
Following the ceremony the weather gave us just enough respite to venture out onto the grounds to have a bit of fun with the Kombi that Teagan had especially arranged for Ash. We had a really fun (if slightly soggy) time! It was then into the cosy warm reception to dry off and share in scrumptious food and entertaining conversations.
The party well and truly kicked off from their with some great dance floor action and confetti filled slo-mo videobooth action! 😉
