St John’s Cathedral Wedding – Brenda + Damien
I recently had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Brenda & Damien. The weather that day was not kind, with torrential rain for most of the day. But these two did not let that faze them from enjoying their big day.
And luckily they chose some great (undercover) venues for their wedding. The ceremony was held at the always magnificent St John’s Cathedral in Brisbane city. This has got to be one of my all time favourite churches in Brisbane, with its amazing stone work. colourful stained glass windows and vaulted ceilings.
Brenda looked gorgeous floating down the aisle proceeded by their cute as a button daughter & flowergirl Laura.
Following the ceremony, the weather held off amazingly for some outdoor family photos before the heavens once again opened and we had to take cover. We then ducked off to some undercover photo locations for some location photo fun. We even got some great umbrella shots too.
It was then off to Victoria Park for the tea ceremony and reception in the Garden Marquee.
All up it was a really fun day and goes to show that you don’t need perfect weather to have the perfect wedding day!
