Flaxton Gardens Wedding Photographer | Maddison & Justin

I love when I get the chance to venture out of Brisbane and head up out of town for weddings. Recently I had the pleasure of photographing Maddison & Justin’s gorgeous wedding at Flaxton Gardens up to the Sunshine Coast.

Flaxton Gardens is an amazing wedding venue perched high atop the Blackall ranges between Mapleton and Montville. Sweeping views of the valley below and the Pacific Ocean beyond is one of its many charms. The perfect spot for Maddy & Justin to celebrate their big day with friends and family.

It was one of those days where the weather just couldn’t decide what it wanted to do, flipping between blue skies and sunshine to sudden bursts of rainbow filled showers. But that didn’t stop Maddy and Justin’s mission to have an amazing day.

The fun filled ceremony was interrupted halfway through by one of the afore mentioned rainbow filled showers, but everyone just moved things to under the cover of the cellar doors and things just proceeded smoothly from there like nothing had happened.

But luckily the sun did make a reappearance for the post ceremony location portraits and the afternoon light was simply awesome!

It was then back to Flaxton gardens to kick off the party properly and an amazing night ensued!
