Situated in the leafy riverside suburb of St Lucia is the always elegant Hillstone St Lucia.

This venue has over 30 years of experience in delivering impeccable service to their wedding couples. Hillstone features 4 different reception spaces. The two most popular being the charming Rosewood Room  (seats 50-100) and the Grand View Room which is indeed grand in size and can seat over 300 guests.

Wedding Photography at Hillstone

Hillstone is one of those venues in Brisbane where you could, if you desired, spend the whole wedding day onsite without any need to leave or travel elsewhere for photos. Which is a great option if you love a nice relaxed approach to your wedding day and want to maximise the time you get to spend with your guests. The golf course and parklands of Hillstone provide some great photography locations, particularly later in the day with some gorgeous afternoon light.

For those who do want more photography locations and backdrops, the nearby UQ St Lucia Campus is a great option.

Once the sun has set, there is still some great nighttime locations that I love to take my couples to for that little mid -reception break.
