Kooroomba Lavendar Farm Wedding |Beth + Max

Recently I had the chance to venture out again into QLD’s beautiful Scenic Rim area. Specifically the amazingly picturesque Kooroomba Lavender Farm. Set amongst the rolling hills, this little spot of paradise features acres of gorgeous Lavender and vines. The perfect spot for a wedding one would say… well lucky that was exactly why I was there!

Beth & Max chose this stunning area for their big day. Sharing special vows with close family and friends (and their fur-baby Tilda!) inside the architecturally unique open air chapel amongst the lavender.

The day was just one of those perfect late winter days that you dream about. Perfect temperature, sunshine and blue skies. I love photographing at this time of year, as the light has an amazing clean crisp quality all afternoon.

The ceremony itself was full of lots of happy moments and quite a few tears were shed.. mostly Max’s but that’s ok 😉 It was then time for some post ceremony petal pelting followed by lots of hugs and kisses.

Everyone then made their way back up to the winery for canapes and pre dinner drinks. I then grabbed the bridal party for some fun relaxed shots in the lavender before letting them go back to the canapes and just spending some time with Beth and Max.

Beth & Max have this lovely close connection and ease around each other that just made my job of capturing them easy. The amazing afternoon light also didn’t disappoint, throwing golden rays all over the lavender and finishing in an amazing sunset.

Everyone then moved into the reception room where the party really got started and just kept on going all night!
