Tattersalls Club Wedding – Emily + Samuel
Recently I had the pleasure to photograph the wedding of Emily and Sam at Tattersalls Club Brisbane. It was a fun and relaxing day and allowed me to do what I do best – capture real moments. Emily & Sam wanted their wedding photography to be genuine and authentic, not too posed. Just me capturing them having fun on their wedding day without hours of location portraits in between the ceremony and reception.
Things kicked off with Sam and his boys getting ready at the United Service Club at Spring Hill. It is always fun capturing this part of the day, the last minute note writing or speech adjusting, sorting out ties and pocket squares, a few last minute nerves. But Sam’s groomsmen kept everything running smoothly and they were soon ready to head down the hill to the church.
Emily was a very calm bride. Chilling at her parents house. Enjoying her wedding day. She even got a few card games in with her family, she was that chilled.
The ceremony took place at Albert St Uniting Church right in the heart of the city. It was extra special as that was the church that Emily parents were married too.
Following the ceremony we forwent the usual post wedding location shoot around the city, instead heading straight to the Tattersalls Club for the reception. Luckily there was a bit of time to grab some shots inside the venue, as the Tattersalls Club has some amazing photo opportunities.
It was then down stairs to the Tattersalls Members Bar for their fun filled reception with their friends and family. Lot’s of laughter followed with some great speeches and it was clear that everyone was having a really great time. Then Emily and Sam took to the dancefloor to get the party really going.
